Our Hybrid ACMA Respiratory & Gastrointestinal Program is perfect for the CMA who is ready to advance their career without stepping away from work. Designed for busy healthcare professionals, this flexible course allows students to complete training while maintaining their current schedule.
The program includes 7 hours of online coursework and 5 hours of in-person skills training, scheduled to fit your availability. Students will have up to 2 weeks to complete all course requirements.
Throughout the course, students will learn the skills and knowledge needed to safely administer medications through gastric tubes and nebulizers while understanding proper infection control, safety procedures, documentation, and resident monitoring.

- Gastric tube medication administration
- Nebulizer treatments
- Oxygen safety and precautions
- Infection control practices
- Identifying complications and reporting concerns
- Documentation requirements
- Resident safety and monitoring during treatments
